Why Online Gaming

I would not say I am a “hard core” gamer, but I do enjoy playing video games. I spend about 5 – 10 hours a week playing some sort of game. My favorite is Tetris. I also enjoy playing games on my Xbox 360. Currently, most of my time is devoted to Halo 3 and Fifa 2008. I play both games primarily online. I probably spend anywhere from 5 – 8 or my 10 hours a week on online gaming. As video games have become more mainstream, more and more people are playing games. I wanted to research how many of these gamers are playing online, and what about online gaming is drawing such high numbers of online gamers.
